The Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) is pleased to be managing the Cushman Foundation Making a Difference for San Diego Grant Program. This program is a commitment by the Cushman Foundation (CF) to give back to the city that has supported their family for generations. It is the philosophy of the Cushman Foundation to have a sense of social responsibility and to honor the communities in which they have conducted business. Over $1 million will be granted to organizations demonstrating the greatest impact on San Diego. Grants of $100,000 each will be awarded.

Your application must highlight how your organization and its programs and/or services will make a difference for San Diego, and how this grant will allow that to happen.

The grant deadline is May 10, 2018 and grants will be awarded by June 30th, 2018. As part of the review process, finalists will be contacted by staff for an in-person interview.

These grants are intended to provide important support for much needed services to diverse communities throughout San Diego County. Because of the large volume of grant requests, applying for this grant is a competitive process. Ultimately, the Cushman Foundation is unable to fund all requests. A declination of support does not indicate a lack of appreciation for the merits of a proposal or project.
